Queen Camilla's attendance at a series of significant events for the Royal Family is in doubt as she battles a chest infection, it has been revealed.

Buckingham Palace revealed today that members of the Royal Family, including the Princess of Wales, would be at the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph and the Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall this weekend. Earlier this week, Camilla was forced to pull out of several engagements after becoming unwell.

Now it has been announced that the Queen's attendance over the weekend will, however, be subject to medical advice nearer the time. King Charles, who recently completed his first long haul overseas tour since his own cancer diagnosis, will lay a wreath of poppies at the base of the Cenotaph on Sunday, leading the nation in tribute to its fallen servicemen and women.

He will be joined by Prince William, Kate - who has recently completed chemotherapy treatment following her own cancer diagnosis - and other members of the Royal Family. The events will mark the first time Kate has carried out two consecutive days of public official engagements since the start of the year.
