M&S Faux Leather Puffy Baguette Bag - £35

M&S has a knack for crafting seriously premium-looking accessories and this Faux Leather Puffy Baguette Bag is the perfect example. Made from faux leather in a soft puffy texture reminiscent of the Coach Pillow Tabby it comes in green, burgundy and black, which are all set to be huge this AW.

This bag's versatility allows it to transition from day to night, offering two different styles for a more casual or evening look. It features a fixed shoulder strap and an adjustable cross-body strap that can be detached, allowing it to be worn on the shoulder for hands-free use, or as a top handle for a more refined finish.

We spotted the bag on Frankie Bridge’s Instagram last weekend, with the Loose Women panellist pairing the burgundy version of the purse with some autumnal outfits. And shoppers on the M&S website have been praising it for its ‘luxe’ appearance. We’ll take one in each colour, please.

Practical? Check. Statement-making? Check. Versatile enough to fit into your wardrobe effortlessly? Check. All of this and more is why the £50 Printed Short Quilt Jacket from JD Williams is the ultimate addition to your cold weather wardrobe.

Thanks to the dipping temperatures, it’s no surprise that autumn outfits are really all about the outerwear. And our style editor Zoe Cripps has been swooning over this effortlessly cool piece.

“Its oversized fit makes it great for layering, whether it's a chunky knit, a hoodie or just a puff sleeve top underneath,” she said. “The navy and white colourway is also easy to pair with any colour combination, so you don’t need to worry about clashing, and the abstract print is modern enough to look trendy whilst being timeless enough that you know it won’t look dated before you’ve even made it into winter.”

Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb Extreme - £86.40

Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb Extreme is £86.40

With summer coming to an end and autumn beginning to dawn there's no better time to switch out your signature scent to mark the change in seasons. And for fans of Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille or House of Vision's Fortitude, we’ve found the perfect new fragrance to add to your perfume wardrobe in Viktor & Rolf’s Spicebomb Extreme .

Spicebomb Extreme is the more intense successor of Spicebomb and proving itself to be a hit. Spicebomb Extreme was launched in 2015 with Carlos Benaim ( YSL Libre ) and Jean-Christophe Hérault ( Creed Aventus ). It balances fruit and fiery spices with grapefruit, pimento berries and black pepper, alongside cumin, cinnamon and saffron which are perfect for this time of year. Its base consists of the classic combination of tobacco and vanilla alongside amber wood and bourbon.

Shoppers consider it to be 'hands down one of the best fragrances' and it's now 10% off on FragranceDirect, making it the ideal time to give it a go.

Dune London Woven Shoulder Bag - £110

Dune London Woven Shoulder Bag, for £110( Image: Dune)

I’ve had my eye on this woven bag for a while. I particularly love the deep hue for this time of year - it makes a change from classic black bags. The Dune number ticks all the right boxes, burgundy is tipped to be the ‘It’ hue of the season and woven bags have been having a moment this year.

I also like the midsize, it’s more practical than the small shoulder bags I have been accustomed to over the last couple of years. The bag has gold hardware, a shoulder strap and an insert wallet for easy storage and organisation.

Priced at £110, it is available in black, metallic and brown colourways too - it also came in a cream shade but this option has sold out.

Merit Day Glow Highlighting Balm - £34

Merit's Day Glow highlighter in Citrine is trending( Image: Merit)

I picked this Merit highlighting balm earlier this week, having been suckered into buying it after seeing some reviews on Tiktok. I usually use the Refy highlighting balm but find the staying power poor - although I love the gleam it just doesn't seem to last on me.

As this is a balm I was hoping it might last on the skin a little longer. It has a silky consistency and feels almost undetectable on application. I picked the colour Citrine, which is a pretty soft gold shade.

I also like that this is a stick as it’s easy to apply, especially when I’m in a rush. The brand also does the stick in bronze, gold and rose gold shades too.

Charlotte Tilbury Matte Beauty Blush Wand - £30

Matte Beauty Blush Wand in 'Pinkgasm'( Image: Charlotte Tilbury)

This is another purchase of the week for me. I have the glowy version of this blush in the shade ‘Pinkgasm Sunset’ but I wanted to try out the matte version for autumn.

This time round I decided to buy the classic Pinkgasm shade - a hue Charlotte Tilbury is synonymous with. It is highly pigmented, so I am hoping a little goes a long way.

The rosy matte blush adds a nice, subtle flush of colour and thankfully it is also brown girl-friendly - it shows up on my deeper skin tone. The wand stick also comes in three other matte shades, including Pillow Talk Pink Pop, Pillow Talk Peach Pop and Pillow Talk Dream Pop.

M&S quilted puffer coat - £69

Keep warm in this Diamond Quilted Padded Coat from Marks and Spencer( Image: M&S)

As a dog owner I am always on the lookout for practical and warm outwear I can throw on for walkies. This longline puffer from M&S is practical and stylish for the winter and autumn months.

It is fleece-lined to keep you snug and is also water-resistant. It has a hood and drawstrings around the waist, so you can cinch it in for some shape.

The coat comes in two shades - beige and black. This is a great practical coat for everyday usage for when the weather becomes cold, wet and quite frankly miserable.

It also has glowing customer reviews, with one shopper describing it as ‘warm’ and ‘slimming’ A win-win.
