Celine Dion was soaked with Gatorade while introducing football game over the weekend.

The singing sensation surprised fans on Sunday when she had the drink thrown over her. The 56-year-old had the liquid poured over her when she appeared in the Sunday Night Football intro sequence.

The star referenced her song It's All Coming Back to Me Now while discussing her "passion" for the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers rivalry as she wore a Super Bowl XXX jumper. While her song played, Celine said: "I think my favourite thing about this game is its power to connect who we are to who we were, to prove our most powerful memories, our most enduring loves can stay with us forever.

"You know what I’m talking about, right? Sometimes, some nights, it all just comes back. The love affair. Well, maybe not "love" the way I usually sing about it. But still… work with me here."

Celine then talked about the connection of her song to her love for American football. "I mean, 'When you touch me like this, when you hold me like that.' It kinda fits, no? But really, what beautiful passion it produced, what painful heartbreak it revealed, so, so long ago. Like so many old flames, it always feels right when they’re back together. Don’t you think?," she said.

There has been a rivalry between the Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers since 1976. Celine added: "Like tonight, evoking the kind of magic they once produced. The Cowboys and the Steelers, a timeless classic on Sunday Night."

The video then showed Celine getting soaked in Gatorade as she had coolers of the drink poured over her. The appearance comes after it was recently teased that Celine could be part of the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest.

After her performance at this year's Paris Olympics, the singer is reportedly due to take part in the event, despite her struggle with Stiff Person Syndrome. Moritz Stadler, the Executive Co-Producer of Eurovision 2025, spoke to the Eurovis-Huns podcast and didn't deny Celine's involvement.

He said: "We’re building up a great show. And you are right, Celine Dion is a legend!" In a bid to tease further, he added: "I’m not going to tell you right now. I’m sure you understand because you guys need to have a bit of suspense between now and next May."

Celine's performance at the Paris Olympics this year was her first since she revealed she had been diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome. Stiff Person Syndrome is a condition that makes the muscles in the body stiffen and cause spasms.
