Speaking to LawandCrime on Wednesday, Buzbee said that following Tuesday's press conference, they had received "12,000 calls in about 24 hours." He also claimed they "have almost 100 people working on this task".

Buzbee went on: "So, our Herculean task is to try to sift through every one of these calls and make sure that we're identifying those who are victims and those who are witnesses and collect evidence."

The lawyer revealed the cases they have built with the 120 accusers could have been filed against Diddy, but said they are "trying to make sure that when we file the cases ... that we include every potentially liable party".

Diddy's attorney Erica Wolff released a statement to deny the allegations. She said: "As Mr Combs' legal team has emphasised, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus. That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors."

She added: "He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation."

The alleged abuse reportedly took place over a 20-year period in the 2000s and 2010s. Buzbee said: "This is an important matter that we intend to aggressively pursue. We will leave no stone unturned to find all potentially liable parties, to include any individual or entity who participated in or benefited from this egregious behaviour."

Buzbee also said the alleged assaults will implicate "many powerful people" and unveil "many dirty secrets".
