TV presenter Fiona MacDonald has taken to social media to announce her own death after refusing further treatment following her battle with Motor Neurone Disease

A TV presenter has announced their own death on social media.

It's A Knockout star Fiona has been battling Motor Neurone Disesase but in recent years, has refused further treatment for the condition due to the unrelenting symptoms of the cruel disease. In a heartbreaking post, she stated that she hoped she was "looking down from a cloud".

The Queensland, Australia-born presenter was known for shows including Wombat in the 1980s had been battling the disease since November 2021.
