Phillip Schofield teases major comeback as he warns fans 'watch this space'

Phillip Schofield has hinted that he is about to make his return to the small screen and teased his Instagram followers that news was imminent

Phillip Schofield has revealed his return to TV is imminent.

The former This Morning presenter shared a cryptic update on his Instagram Stories on Thursday evening. He told fans: "Watch this space... 9am," alongside a winking emoji. There was no further information provided, leaving fans to ponder what the 62-year-old could be referring to.

Any return to showbiz will come over a year after he last appeared. The former Dancing On Ice host resigned from his roles on ITV in May 2023 after admitting to an "unwise but not illegal" affair.

At the time, the presenter admitted to lying to his wife, management, legal team and ITV about a secret relationship with a younger male colleague. The scandal and fall out with long-time pal Holly Willoughby led to Schofield disappearing form the public eye.

Schofield's latest teaser comes amid months of a slow and steady return to his public persona. Over the past few months has has been spotted out more and had also been taking a cautious return to social media, posting infrequently about his pup.

Speculation recently began circulating that he could be planning to redeem his image on I'm A Celebrity... after he was spotted enjoying a chat with one half of the show's hosts, Declan Donnelly.
