Strictly star Tasha Ghouri's boyfriend Andrew Le Page gets adorable tattoo tribute

Strictly Come Dancing star Tasha Ghouri has been dating Love Island star Andrew Le Page since the pair appeared on the ITV2 show in 2022, and he has an adorable tattoo tribute to her

Tasha Ghouri and Andrew Le Page have been the picture of romance since their first encounter in the Love Island villa back in 2022. The duo, who finished fourth - with Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti taking home the crown and cash prize - have gone from strength to strength since walking out hand in hand, even taking the leap to purchase their first home together.

Andrew, 29, has also shown his commitment to his 26-year-old girlfriend, who's currently raking in the high scores on this year's Strictly Come Dancing, by getting a permanent inking in her honour. The tattoo, which is on the back of his upper arm, features a hand signing 'I love you' in British Sign Language, cradling Tasha's cochlear implant, reports OK!.

Tasha, who wears a cochlear implant and spoke proudly about her deafness on Love Island, was clearly moved by the gesture and took to social media to show off the design. Sharing on X, she gushed: "So Andrew came home and surprised me with his new tattoo, I actually can't even! ! ! ! ! ! ! How beautiful it's 'ily' in BSL with my cochlear implant wrapped around. Also just to clarify * the ily is ASL but it is also used in BSL as it became more used - there is another way to sign ily in BSL which is what me and my dad did to each other when he came into the villa. But both can be used in bsl as I know both."

A cochlear implant is a small, complex electronic device that can help provide a sense of sound to a person who is profoundly deaf or severely hard-of-hearing. The device comprises an external part that sits behind the ear and another part that is surgically implanted under the skin.

Tasha and Andrew have also demonstrated their commitment to each other with matching tattoos - Tasha has a rose tattooed behind her ear while Andrew sports the same design on his hand. Currently, Tasha is competing on Strictly, with her boyfriend Andrew cheering her on.

She explained that being on the BBC show and raising awareness about the deaf community was the "best feeling ever".

"I've been so lucky for the past two years, to be able to raise awareness around the deaf community," she revealed. "Someone messaged me the other day and said, 'Because of you, I feel confident today.' That means so much – that's what makes me smile."

She further added: "It's showing people with disabilities that when you put your mind to it, you can do hard things. It shouldn't define you, but it's a special and unique part of you. Just look at Chris [McCausland] – he's so inspiring. He's blind but showing everyone he can still dance. I feel so honoured to be able to help all the young 'Tashas' out there, maybe watching the show."
