Angelina Jolie and 'boyfriend Akala spent two nights together at swanky hotel'

Dame Angelina Jolie has been linked to British rap star Akala since August this year - and while the pair have denied a romance, they appear to be spending quality time together

Dame Angelina Jolie and her alleged new boyfriend, Akala, have spent a romantic two nights together.

The 49-year-old Oscar-winning actress has been linked to British rapper and political activist Akala, aka 40-year-old Kingslee James McLean Daley, for the past two months. Angelina and Akala - who is the younger brother of music icon Ms. Dynamite - were first spotted together leaving a hotel in Italy during Venice International Film Festival in August.

And while the pair have insisted they are not dating, romance rumours continue to swirl around them. It has now been reported that Akala - who reportedly is in a committed relationship with Chanelle Newman who is also his manager - enjoyed two days of uninterrupted company with the Mr and Mrs Smith star.

It has been reported that the pair spent time together in London last week, staying at the prestigious Corinthia Hotel and dining out together at Soho House. It is also suggested that Dame Angelina and Akala did not leave their hotel for a whole 48 hours.

A source told The Sun: “Angelina and Akala have been secretly spending nights together at her London hotel The Corinthia. Angelina arrived at the hotel via the loading bay at around 8pm on Wednesday before being joined by Akala at around 10pm.

“The pair spent Wednesday and Thursday night together inside the hotel and did not leave. Akala was snuck out of the hotel via one of Angelina’s cars on Friday — a couple of hours before the BFI film premiere for her new movie.

The source went on to suggest the pair used separate cars and utilised secret entrances to avoid being spotted at the hotel. The Mirror has contacted representatives of Angelina and Akala for comment.

The latest allegations come just days after the couple insisted that they are not an item. A source told the Mirror earlier this month: "She and Akala are not dating. She is friends with him and his partner, Chanelle, who was also there."

It has been five years since Angelina divorced her third husband, Brad Pitt. The couple sparked furore when they first got together after working on the action film Mr & Mrs Smith in 2005 as he had been married to Jennifer Aniston at the time of filming - although the pair denied getting together before his split from the Friends star was announced and they went public with their in 2006.

The duo were a prominent Hollywood couple, welcoming daughter Shiloh in May 2006 and twins Vivienne and Knox in 2008. The pair are also parents to adopted children Pax, Zahara and Maddox.

Brad and Ange did not marry until 2014 but the marriage soured soon after and they announced their shock split in 2016. While they divorced in 2019, their agreements are still being contested - with a dispute over a vineyard making headlines this year, a decade after they swapped vows.
