Jennifer Aniston admits to odd cosmetic procedure as she denies Barack Obama romance rumours

Jennifer Aniston was asked about some of the biggest rumours about her which she either confirmed or denied - and one rumour involving the semen of a fish turned out to be true

Jennifer Aniston has confessed to having salmon sperm injected into her face as part of her beauty regime.

The youthful 55-year-old The Morning Show star was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Wednesday night when the 56-year-old host asked her a series of rumours about her which she then either confirmed or denied. Among the line of questioning was whether or not Jennifer had ever enjoyed a salmon sperm facial - and the live studio audience was in disbelief when she confirmed that she had.

Jimmy asked her bluntly: "You’ve had a salmon sperm facial?" And Jennifer confirmed: "I did." Sounding stunned, Jimmy confirmed: "That is true?" And a blushing Jennifer then said: "But! Let me explain to you. It’s not like, ‘How do you get sperm out of a salmon?’ I mean, it was unclear."

Jimmy then suggested: "You dress as a lady salon?" prompting the Friends icon to laugh. She then continued her tale, and said: "I just took the woman’s word that it was, that’s what it was. I was like, ‘Sure!’ It’s like micro needling and then they push the salmon sperm in. Don’t I look like a salmon? Don’t I have beautiful salmon skin?"

While in the hot-seat, Jennifer was also asked if there was any truth to a inTouch magazine headline that stated: “The truth about Jen and Barack [Obama]!” And claimed: “Michelle [Obama] betrayed as Aniston steals her husband’s attention”. The magazine front page went on to suggest: “They’re obsessed with each other!” And added: “Power circles in Washington and Hollywood can’t stop gossiping!”

Slamming the report, Jennifer said: "That was... of all the calls you get from your publicist, where you're just like 'oh no, what's it going to be?' or an email saying some cheesy tabloid is going to make up a story, and then it's that... I was not mad at it!" Pressing her for information, Jimmy asked: "Is there any truth to this?" Jennifer debunked the story, saying: "No, that is absolutely untrue. It is untrue."

Jimmy then said: "I know it’s not true. I don’t know if some people." But Jennifer repeated: "There is no truth." Jimmy then asked: "You know Barack Obama?" And Jennifer announced: "I met him once. I know Michelle more than him." The talk show host then joked: "Is there a truth about you and Michele that we should know?" And laughing, Jennifer replied: "It’s… That is not true."

Another story Jimmy demanded Jennifer clear up the facts of involved a luxury item in her house. He asked it it was true: "You installed a $4,000 anti-aging water filter in your home for your dogs?" But Jen denied the story, saying: "That is not true." There was then confusion between the pair as to whether or not such an item exists and Jimmy asked the star if she would buy one for her dogs - who she is known to adore - if such an item did exist. And she somewhat unconvincingly replied: "No."
