Gogglebox star Amy Tapper has sparked romance rumours with her latest Instagram post, as she shared a video of herself in a swimming pool being affectionate with another woman.

The clip showed the pair embracing, with Sydney giving Amy a peck on the cheek. Amy captioned the post "Sydney and Amy's Adventures", leading some fans to wonder if they were a couple. However, Amy quickly shut down the speculation, replying "A couple of best friends" to a follower who has asked if it was romantic between them, reports OK!.

The TV star, who was sporting swimwear in the video, appeared to be enjoying a sun-soaked break and won't be joining her former Gogglebox colleagues on the show's new instalment tonight (4 October). The show will feature familiar duos like Pete and Sophie, Giles and Mary, and Jenny and Lee.

Amy rose to fame on Channel 4's Gogglebox in 2013 with her family, including parents Jonathan and Nikki, and brother Josh. The Tappers became fan favourites, but left the show in 2018 to pursue new experiences.

Her latest post comes after she recently celebrated her three-stone weight loss transformation on Instagram. She has kept her 80k followers updated on her weight loss journey over the past year and recently marked a major milestone: shedding three stone in just six months.

Amy continues to inspire her followers by sharing sneak peeks of her expert-led fitness routines. In a recent video, she's seen shadow boxing with gusto and shared it with the note: "Haven't uploaded a boxing reel in ages... my favourite way of working out @tashelite.fitness thanks for the sesh today."

Moreover, Amy has been showcasing her dedication with a clip where she's lifting weights and powering through on a treadmill, captioning it with a positive spin: "Who says arm day can't be fun.. did each of these sets 3 times each and they were all 10 reps."

Reflecting on her fitness journey back in 2022, Amy revealed: "Every person's body is different and everyone's metabolism is different. "Over the past ten years I think I have come to a conclusion about what is best for me and what works for me. Before, I would lose 2st easily, then my body would just never budge after the 2st."

She also expressed: "It has been an ongoing battle but I think I have finally cracked the code." A crucial aspect of Amy's approach has been setting small, realistic goals, steering clear of expecting overnight miracles.
