A star of the hit reality TV show Shipwrecked looks totally different after reuniting with former co-star Jeff Brazier.

Starring in the third series of the popular contest, Jeff and pal Geordie Taylor shared a sweet snap after meeting up 23 years on from the show. Appearing together on the desert island competition in 2001, dad-of-two Jeff and his Aussie companion formed a close bond - and it's clear it's something they still share to this day.

Jeff shared their reunion on his Instagram page and showed the pair embracing with big smiles in a diner. Geordie was joined on the occasion by his three kids. He looked worlds away from the person who appeared on the screen over two decades ago as he donned a checked shirt and was carrying a backpack.

Jeff, who recently appeared on Race Across The World, shared a sweet caption with his upload, writing: "My heart is literally still full from meeting up with my Aussie mate Geordie, his beautiful wife Charlotte & gorgeous girls yesterday morning! So Geordie was the rugged voice of reason with all the outback bush tucker skills that kept us all alive on Shipwrecked in 2001!"

He added: "We’ve always kept in touch but this was the first time meeting the family and I loved hearing the stories from their five-month trip around the world. I’m so proud of him, I met him as a 20-year-old and here he is giving his children a wonderful life experience making memories they’ll never forget."

Jeff went on to say he had "gained a sister" in Geordie's wife, Charlotte, before saying he can "feel a couple of weeks in Australia coming on next year!" Charlotte repaid to cute message and called Jeff a "legend," before adding: "We can’t wait to welcome you to your Australian home."

Fans of the show, which initially ran between 2000 and 2006, were keen to share their memories of the duo in the comments section, too. One user gushed: "Wow.. how bloody wholesome," alongside an emoji face with love heart eyes. Another added: "I flipping loved Shipwrecked!," and a third said: "Aw no way I remember him from Shipwrecked too, showing my age. This is amazing."

In Jeff and Geordie's series of Shipwrecked, their 17-strong team consisted of 14 English stars and three Australians. Throughout their time on the show, the contestants were tasked with battling the elements on a remote island for three months.

Following his spell on the show, Jeff has carved a TV career, which has included working on presenter's duties for shows such as X Factor's live tour. In his latest spell on the screen, he competed with son Freddy, 18, in Race Across The World.
