Stacey Solomon has given fans a sneak peek into her adorable joint birthday celebrations with daughter Rose.

The Sort Your Life Out host turned 35 on October 4 – the same day she gave birth to Rose, who is now three. And the pair celebrated with a low key birthday at Pickle Cottage, which was Disney’s Lilo & Stitch themed.

Mum Stacey revealed she had got Lilo & Stitch balloons, cuddly toys and a cake – as well as lots of flowers at Rose’s request. But the biggest surprise was a mini piano Rose had asked for as a present.

In a DIY clip, Stacey shared how she spray painted the piano pink, covered it in flowers and created a cushioned chair for Rose to sit on as she played it. At the start of the video Stacey asks: “What would you love for your birthday?” as Rose replies: “I want a pink piano with beautiful flowers.” Underneath in the caption, Stacey wrote: ‘Mummy has been doing her best to make your birthday dreams come true ... I hope you love it.”

Another post showed the pair twinning in matching unicorn birthday jumpers which said their ages – 3 and 35. Stacey revealed she had a black heart-shaped cake that had the number 35 on and shared how she had a ‘magical’ day just pottering round the garden as she cuddled one of her pet ducks.

She also had flowers sent to her by her Loose Women co-stars. But Stacey said the best present this year went to her mum who got her a duck mug and a pair of socks which said on the bottom ‘if you can read this make me some tea.’

Sharing a cute video of Rose playing on her new pink piano, Stacey told her 6 million followers: “35 & 3. Happy birthday to us Rose... You truly are the best birthday gift I could ever have dreamed of.

“You light up our lives more than you’ll ever know. Every year it gets more and more special. To the moon and. back darling girl. I cannot believe it’s been a whole three years. Thank you to everyone for the loveliest birthday messages ever. To the moon and back guys.”

And some fans couldn’t believe their ages – and remarked on how epic future celebrations will be. One wrote: “Can you imagine the party you’ll have at 50 and 18. How amazing!” Another commented: “Just like me and my youngest. We share the same birthday and had an amazing time celebrating, so special. Happy birthday.”

A third joked: “The joint 50th and 18th is going to be epic – can I come?!” as a fourth exclaimed: “I cannot believe how quickly Rose grew up!!! 3 already. Where did all the time go?” And a fifth added: “Happy birthday beautiful girlies. So amazing you have the same birth date to celebrate together. Hope you had the most wonderful day.”

As well as Rose, Stacey shares five-year-old Rex and one-year-old Belle with actor and TV presenter husband Joe Swash, 42. Stacey has older kids, Zach, 16, and Leighton, 12, while Joe has 17-year-old Harry from a previous relationship.
