Al Pacino’s ex Noor Alfallah has admitted a regret around her pregnancy after her romance with the veteran actor.

Film producer Noor, 30, shares a child with veteran actor Al Pacino, 84, and earlier this year spoke about how she has changed following the birth of Roman in June 2023.

Noor told Vogue that she wishes she was able to enjoy her pregnancy more at the time. The publication reported that just before Noor gave birth she was diagnosed with HELLP Syndrome which can cause seizures.

As a result, Noor wasn’t able to be alone with Roman during the first few days of her life as medics worried about her having seizures as well as her low blood platelet count.

She said: “When I look back on it now, I wish I could have enjoyed my pregnancy more.”

Noor also discussed the impact of becoming a mother and how it was “greater” than she could ever have imagined. She explained: “Becoming a mom – to be honest – it’s greater than I ever could imagine.

“Roman has just been the greatest gift from God, a thousand times better than what I ever thought he would be. Every day I look at him, I just know I’m so blessed.”

In recent days, rumours have swirled about whether Noor and Al Pacino are still together. Photos showed The Godfather star driving with Noor, despite Al Pacino saying the pair had split at the start of the month.

In recent weeks reports had suggested that Noor was spending more time with 68-year-old Bill Maher. When asked about the status between the pair, a representative for Al Pacino said: “Al and Noor are very good friends, have been for years, and are co-parents to their son Roman.”

On his own position on personal commitment, Al Pacino told People: “Everything's a ticket to the pain train. A ticket or nothing: 'Are you going to go or not? ' 'No, I'll stay here. I'll stay here at the station, I'm not getting on.”

Al Pacino added that marriage “can suit you, by all means. I just didn't feel it ever suited me for some reason”.

He explained: "I loved living together, and then... It depends on who you are getting along with. If you live together with someone, there's got to be...You have to have this communion. If you don't, it's almost an invasion. So I like to know that if I find a human that I can connect with.”
