Victoria Beckham sparks concern with 'disrespectful' photo of daughter-in-law Nicola

Following rumours of a feud between Brooklyn Beckham's wife Nicola Peltz and his mum Victoria, fans have called the actress out for a revealing photo posted on social media

Victoria Beckham has caused concern among fans after a photo of her daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz attracted criticism from social media users.

The fashion designer and former Spice Girl attended the star-studded event for the launch of her son Brooklyn's new hot sauce brand, Cloud 23. The 25-year-old was supported by his full family for the launch, including his grandmother, mother and father, Victoria and David Beckham, brother Cruz, 19 and sister Harper, 13. Brooklyn's wife, fellow nepo baby Nicola affectionately supported her husband, with the family joined by Brooklyn's brother-in-law Will Peltz.

But in a post celebrating the occasion, a photo of 29-year-old actress Nicola wearing a pantless outfit was slammed by fans as "disrespectful".

One Instagram user surmised: "Victoria doesn’t look too happy. I wouldn’t be either if my daughter-in-law showed up to my son’s event wearing no pants. How distasteful and disrespectful." Another jibed: "So hot, you’ll forget your pants!", while a third disapprovingly added: "Why is dear girl half naked in front of father in law. Not good."

A shocked fan wrote: "What in the world is Nicola NOT wearing?? Talk about screaming for attention!!" While another joked: "Nicola forget to put on the bottom half of her outfit!!" Someone else felt inspired by Nicola's outfit, adding: "How are you wearing knickers around your in laws maybe I should greet mine in the same manner lol."

Although the photos show the bond between Brooklyn's tribe, his wife Nicola and mum Victoria haven't always seen eye-to-eye.

The pair have reportedly put their feud behind them, but they allegedly had a previous disagreement over Nicola's wedding dress design when she married Brooklyn in 2022. But a source said they decided to make peace for the sake of the family.

"Victoria took a step back, so Nicola took a step forward and it allowed them to resolve things and move on," the source revealed. "She just wants the best for her son, and Brooklyn made it clear that Nicola was the number one woman in his life so they had to resolve things."

The first disagreement between Victoria and Nicola reportedly happened over the wedding dress for Nicola's £3 million Palm Beach wedding to Brooklyn in April 2022, but there were conflicting stories about what really happened. Rumours circulated that Nicola "refused" to wear her VB design wedding gown, while others said Victoria had declined to make her dress. Speaking to OK!, a source claimed it took some time for the family to adjust to the new dynamic after the wedding. "It's difficult at times because Victoria is used to being the boss and ruling everything she's the matriarch of the family."

They added at the time: "Nicola and Victoria are both very strong characters, so it was either going to end in them losing the relationship Victoria and David have with Brooklyn, or the issues needed to be put to bed to bring them all back together."
