Gogglebox's Izzi Warner leaves fans gobsmacked as she blurts out she's split from boyfriend

Gogglebox star Izzi Warner has announced that she has been single for the last 18 months, despite viewers assuming she was still with her long-term boyfriend Grant

Gogglebox favourite Izzi Warner left fans gobsmacked with a candid revelation about her relationship status during the show, disclosing that she's been single for quite some time.

The Channel 4 personality, who appears alongside her sister Ellie, surprised viewers by announcing her split from long-term partner Grant.

The couple had been an item for several years, with Izzi first sharing snaps of Grant on social media in 2014. They shared a home in Leeds and have two children together, son Bobby and daughter Bessie Rose.

Izzi opened up about the breakup, stating they parted ways 18 months ago. On Friday's episode, she detailed her ideal man criteria, dubbed her 'Mary Poppins' list, after Ellie prompted her to share what she seeks in a new beau.

Izzi quizzed her sister: "My partner who is practically perfect in every way, do you want to hear it? It's quite extensive.

"I've separated it into essentials and nice-to-haves. So on the essentials we've got: hardworking, open-minded, kind, attractive, good with money, clean criminal record, zero drugs police/no drink problem, emotional intelligence, full head of hair, patient, discreet, loyal, supports my hobbies, wants to be my plus one," reports Birmingham Live.

"And then nice to haves: nice teeth, nice car, generous, good style, taller than me, cooks nice dinners. So hence why I've been single for the last 18 months."

Over on what used to be Twitter, one surprised fan quizzed: "Wait, Izzi is single? # Gogglebox." Another added their surprise: "Izzi single? I never knew that." A third watcher was also taken aback, typing out: "Wait what did izzy say that she was single?"

Back in May, fans hailed mortgage advisor Izzi when she shared snapshots from her "first solo" trip with her kids. She offered a peek into her Disney adventure through a video compilation.

"This was my first solo trip abroad with kids and I just threw myself in at the deep end but I am so glad I did! It was super tiring but so worth it for the memories we've made. This won't be my last trip with them now I've done the first but maybe somewhere a bit more relaxing next time."

Co-star Baasit Siddiqui from Gogglebox replied: "Awww looks like you had an amazing time. Well done for being outnumbered! It's hard enough when both me and Mel have the munchkins together!"

It comes months after Izzi revealed an exciting new addition to her family, taking to Instagram to share she is now “not just a regular Mom, I’m a horse Mom” as she proudly stood by her new horse.

Beaming from ear to ear, Izzi went on to tell her followers: “It honestly feels like a childhood dream come true. I feel so lucky to have found such a special girl to make memories with.” Sharing what her horse's name was, she added: “Some things are just meant to Bea.”

Asked if the horse was for her or the kids, Izzi replied she was just for her and explained: “She’s 15.2hh and built like a table so no. You just can’t see her size from front on.” As another fan pointed out: “Look at her feet. She’s not small!,” Izzi exclaimed: “They’re like dinner plates!”
