Nobody Wants This is a binge-worthy comedy-drama series unravelling a complex relationship between a podcast host and a rabbi.

Nobody Wants This is coming to Netflix soon and the highly-anticipated comedy series sends viewers on an emotional rollercoaster. When an agnostic sex podcast host and an unconventional rabbi on the rebound meet at a party, they form the most unlikely of pairings.

Joanne and Noah can tell there is something between them, but will their differing outlooks on life get in the way? There are also all of the modern obstacles to love, and their sometimes well-meaning, sometimes sabotaging families to contend with.

Joanne's sister Morgan and Noah's brother Sasha have plenty to say about the relationship. The series was created by Erin Foster and it is loosely based on her real-life experiences.

The trailer shows Joanne and Morgan hosting their podcast when Joanne admits she has not made good relationship choices in the past. She is instantly taken aback by Noah and, despite resisting all urges to form a relationship with him, she falls hard.

The series will make its Netflix debut on Thursday, September 26, so there is not much longer left to wait.

Fans in the US should be able to access the episodes from midnight, whereas those watching in the UK will have to wait until 8am on the day of release.

Erin Foster opened up about the show to Tudum, saying: "This show is based on the only good decision I ever made: falling for a nice Jewish boy.

"But I realized that being happy is way harder than being miserable (there’s nothing to complain about). So, I created this show based on all the ways that finding the right person can be so hard. Nobody Wants This, but we do, and that’s all that matters."

How many episodes are in Nobody Wants This?

The series is made up of 10 episodes, but they have been kept to a much shorter run time of between 20 and 30 minutes.

This means fans can easily binge their way through the whole series in a day or two.

Who is in the cast of Nobody Wants This?

Kristen Bell stars as Joanne, with Adam Brody in the role of her love interest, Noah.

Kristen, a 44-year-old American actress, is best known for voicing Princess Anna in the Disney hit, Frozen.

Adam, also 44, had a breakout role as Seth Cohen on the Fox series The O.C.

Justine Lupe stars as Joanne's sister Morgan, with Timothy Simons as Noah's brother Sasha.

Justine, 35, played Willa Ferreyra in Succession with Timothy starring as Jonah Ryan on the HBO television series Veep.
