Kerry Katona has confirmed she has split up from her fiancé Ryan Mahoney after a six-year relationship. The 44-year-old former Atomic Kitten singer has been engaged to the 36-year-old fitness trainer since 2021, but their romance has been fraught with difficulties.

The couple had planned to marry in Las Vegas but cancelled their wedding at the last minute, reports the Mirror. Kerry has openly admitted that they were arguing 'like cat and dog', even suggesting that she had given Ryan permission to have a baby with someone else and expressing doubts about wanting to get married.

The mum-of-five confirmed the end of their relationship during an unusual interaction with fans. This came as Kerry posted about visiting her ill mother Sue in hospital, who was rushed to A&E last month due to blood clots in her lungs.

When one fan asked if the doctor was single, Kerry responded: "No, but I am!." She has been candid about her recent struggles and constant arguments with Ryan. In her latest column, she confessed: "I've not had the best time this week, it has been tough. Last week I was feeling really triggered because of the Liam Payne news and how similar it was to my late husband George's death."

Kerry, a mother to Lilly, Holly, Heidi, Max, and DJ, opened up to OK! magazine about her personal struggles, saying: "And this week my mum hasn't been well, her health is really declining and it is worrying for me. It's hard to see.

"Ryan and I have been arguing like cat and dog too so we've not had the best time. We're not in a great place at the moment. I do like to be honest when things are like this, though, because no one is perfect and everyone has their issues. I'd much rather be real about it."

She also expressed doubts about marriage, given her history of difficult relationships. The star reflected on her past marriages, including her first to Westlife singer Brian McFadden, which ended in divorce, and how she struggled to move on after he quickly found love with Australian singer Delta Goodrem.

Kerry went on to marry taxi driver Mark Croft in 2007, with whom she had two children before they divorced in 2011. Her third marriage was to former rugby league player George Kay in 2014. They had one child together before separating three years later, and George passed away in 2019.

In February, Kerry revealed that her hopes for a sixth child were dashed and confessed to giving Ryan 'a free pass' to father a child with another woman. She explained: "I don't want to deprive him in fact, I've given him a pass and said, 'If this is something you want to pursue, leave me now. I never want someone to not have that feeling of having their own child. But I feel like I should be enough for a man.

Earlier this year, it was reported that Ryan and Kerry were experiencing significant disagreements over her OnlyFans account. The former face of Iceland, Kerry, was reportedly planning to increase her content on the adult subscription service, which has already restored her millionaire status following her past financial difficulties.

Her provocative photos and videos were believed to be causing tension at home, with Ryan admitting he "can't help" but feel irritated. Before this, Kerry expressed anger towards Ryan, as she felt completely unsupported by his behaviour after she underwent cosmetic surgery.

Kerry had previously admitted she was "fuming" with Ryan after returning from the hospital. The star stayed with her mother Sue - who she refers to as her "rock" - revealing she felt "lonely" and "unsupported" by her then-fiancé of four years following an invasive nose surgery.

Kerry was left seething over the condition of her family home upon her return from treatment. She vented: "I returned home after staying at my mum's last week and the house was an absolute state. I was fuming with the kids and Ryan because no one had tidied up anything.

"It frustrates me, because it always happens when I'm away. I am still recovering from my nose surgery and even bending down at the moment hurts because of the scar on my rib."
