Coronation Street's Alan Halsall supported over 'little firework' post after co-star 'confirmed' soap future

Coronation Street star Alan Halsall has been flooded with love and support after he shared a sweet message about his daughter. The actor was seen enjoying this year's Bonfire Night with Sienna-Rae.

Alan, who his famed for playing Tyrone Dobbs in the ITV soap, and the 11-year-old, who he shares with his soap star ex-wife Lucy-Jo Hudson, seemingly wrapped up warm and headed out to a local firework display on Tuesday night (November 5) as the annual commemoration took place.

Taking to Instagram, the soap star shared a picture of the pair as the fireworks lit up the night sky behind them. Alongside the post, Alan wrote: "She could illuminate even the darkest of skies. Me & my little Firework."

Former Coronation Street co-star Catherine Tyldesley was quick to respond as she wrote in the comments: "Omg Al, she’s so grown up! Gorgeous girl." Ex cobbles star Ryan Thomas and Alan's on-screen mum Claire Sweeney both responded with love heart emojis.

It comes after Alan was earlier this week left stunned as he managed just a one-word reaction to castmate Claire's latest sensational appearance - before she seemingly confirmed his big move.

The actress and her partner Ricky Hatton were among the famous faces headed to the Football For Change 2024 Gala in her home city of Liverpool over the weekend. Taking to social media, Claire shared snaps from the evening, including a photo of her posing for the camera in a plunging sparkly gown.

The soap star, 53, showed off her fabulous figure in the tight-fitting, floor-length silver number while wearing her short blond locks down and in soft curls. She accessorised with a pair of glittering drop earrings and swashed some red lipstick across her lips to add a pop of colour to her look.

Among those responding to the post was Alan who simply wrote: "Mother !!!!!!" with a shocked face emoji. But in response to his message, Claire seemingly confirmed her co-star's rumoured appearance in this year's series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here as she said: "I’m so excited for you going in the jungle next week !!!" meaning he may be taking a break from the soap.
