BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Karen Hauer reveals major move with four-word update after show exit
by Jessica Sansome · Manchester Evening NewsKaren Hauer has teased her next major move following her Strictly Come Dancing exit. Fans were gutted to see the professional dancer out of the competition last month alongside her celebrity dance partner Paul Merson.
Karen and the former footballer made it through to week five of the BBC One dance contest where they only got 19 points from the judges for their samba to Car Wash by R&B group Rose Royce, with Paul saying he "still didn’t know the dance" before performing it, and challenged judge Craig Revel Horwood to a football match for the low score.
That weekend, Paul and Karen found themselves out of Strictly 2024 following a dance-off against JB Gill and Amy Dowden, who has now been replaced in the dance show by Lauren Oakley having suffered a foot injury.

At the time though, both couples performed their routines again, which including JB and his partner Amy's Jive to Hey Ya! by Outkast, before the judges all favoured to save JB and Amy, sending Paul and Karen home.
Of her partner, Karen said on the show at the time to host Tess Daly: "You've been a joy. I've never giggled this much. My abs are really tight now. I am so proud of you. Every week you have showed up, you have improved. You're what Strictly is about and I want to thank you for bringing such joy and just showing everyone that it is possible with a little bit of work and lots of giggles."
Since her exit, Karen has been seen back in the ballroom as she joins her fellow Strictly stars each Saturday night in the 'Claudatorium' alongside co-host Claudia Winkleman where she talks to the remaining couples after each performance.
But she's also being kept busy away from the hit dance show as not only is she hosting dance classes alongside fellow pro Luba Mushtuk, she is also preparing for her panto debut.

While the panto season begins later this month, Karen will begin her run of performances from December 21 following the end of Strictly's latest series. Alongside the photo, Karen wrote: "Learning on the go... #panto."
