BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Oti Mabuse supported as she says 'who knew' after teasing announcement

Oti Mabuse has been flooded with messages of support as she was seen starting preparations for her next tour. The former Strictly Come Dancing star recently revealed she will be hitting the road once again next year.

Oti Mabuse: Viva Carnival, next year is set to see Oti celebrate the world’s most electrifying carnivals, from the Sambas of Brazilian Carnival to the Tangos of Argentina’s Fiesta Nacional de la Vendimia, the dance scene at England’s own Glastonbury Festival and the swing of the Jazz Fest in New Orleans.

The tour will be kicking off in Sheffield in June 2025 and will also see Oti perform at Manchester's Bridgewater Hall on June 15, 2025.

In a statement confirming the new show, Oti said: "I’m so excited to bring Viva Carnival to the stage! Performing on stage is something I feel so passionately about and have missed so much. Dance has the power to bring people together and I can’t wait to party with everyone."

And this week, Oti was seen alongside her husband Marius Lepure as they headed to the dance studio to get some ideas for the show.

Sharing a video of the pair in dancing action, Oti wrote on Instagram: "Who knew 2 minutes could feel like a marathon? Back in the studio, and let’s just say my stamina has seen better days. Dancing again after a few years has me huffing and puffing, but oh, how GOOD it feels to be moving!

"Balancing choreography, motherhood, and trying to remember if I left the oven on… the real juggle! But I’m loving every second of the challenge—building up that stamina so I can dance without needing an oxygen mask mid-routine!"

She added: "Catch me working on those extra deep breaths and energy bursts as I prep for Viva Carnival! Anyone else still a bit out of breath just thinking about it?"

But her fans and followers were quick to show their support. @wendycarling said: "Could watch you two all day, you ooze love of each other and dancing - go Oti." @i_go_by_keenan commented: "Omg. I’m so obsessed. Oh I’ve missed your dancing."

It comes after Oti teased she has some news to share. Taking to her Instagram Story, she shared a typed-out post which said: "Announcement coming on Friday." The mum-of-one also added: "This isn't one you're going to want to miss. I'm so excited!!"
