Sheila BALL Our wonderful mum/nan/great grandma was taken from us too soon after a short illness in Royal Shrewsbury Hospital on 30th September 2024. Aged 88 mum fought to the end but it was too much for her. She will be so desperately missed by her beloved husband of 67 years Alan, and sons Ian, Bobby, Glyn, and daughter Sue, together with grandchildren John, Ellie, Rhea, Darcy and Jonathan, great grandchildren Olivia and Jasper, son-in-law Paul and daughters in law Dena, Bethan and Pauline. The funeral will take place Monday 21st October at 12.30pm at Emstrey Crematorium in Shrewsbury, SY2 6PS and then followed by a celebration of her life at The Peacock Inn, Shrewsbury, SY2 6JS. Chris BURKE Formerly of County Galway, Ireland. On 21st August 2024, Chris passed away peacefully at his home, comforted by his family. Chris aged 93 years was the beloved Husband of the late Joyce and a treasured Father, Grandad and Great Grandad. Also a dearly loved Brother, Brother in law, Father in law, Uncle, Cousin and Friend. Terence CARRICK Passed away peacefully in hospital on Wednesday 25th September 2024, aged 83 years. Miss Frances COLLINSON Passed peacefully away on 22nd September, aged 91. Late of Newhouse Crescent, Bamford, Rochdale. Former Head Teacher of Alkrington County Primary School 1965 - 1984.
