BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Pete Wicks in fresh transformation as pre-show move 'uncovered'
by Jessica Sansome · Manchester Evening NewsWhile he may or may not become king of the ballroom this year, Pete Wicks is already king of the transformations as he undergoes another for his next Strictly Come Dancing performance.
The reality star and podcast host has made it through to week seven of the BBC One dance contest, which takes place live on Saturday night (November 2), alongside his professional dance partner Jowita Przystal.
Over the weeks so far, Strictly fans have seen Pete channel George of the Jungle, sport a John Travolta or Elvis-inspired quiff and find comfort in playing the Joker.

But now, for the first-ever 'Icons Week' in Strictly's 20-year history, the former TOWIE star has turned into none other than Freddie Mercury.
Pete will take on the persona of the late Queen legend when he salsas to Queen song Another One Bites The Dust alongside Jowita during the dance show's latest live show.
Ahead of Strictly's return, Pete was seen outside Elstree Studios showing off his dance moves while sporting an iconic Freddi outfit - a white vest and matching white trousers with a red stripe down the side of either leg.
The 36-year-old was said to be taking a cigarette break while watching Queen videos on his phone, getting some last minute inspiration for his performance.

It comes after Pete and Jowita spoke about their next peformance on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two with host Janette Manrara earlier in the week.
Speaking to presenter Janette Manrara, the couple discussed this weekend's tribute to Freddie Mercury and Queen with a medley including Another One Bites the Dust. Janette asked whether getting his claws into another character would prove beneficial to Pete, leading Jowita to draw a comparison to the legendary rock star.
Having paused for an uncomfortable amount of time, much to the amusement of Janette and Pete, the Polish pro finally answered: "I think the one thing that Pete has very similar to Freddie is that performance mode." Pete then added: "And a moustache!"
