Tommy Fury offers daughter Bambi update and says 'she's a daddy's girl' after Molly-Mae Hague split

Tommy Fury has shared an update on his daughter as he was quizzed about the end of his relationship with Molly-Mae Hague during a new TV interview.

It's the first time the boxer has appeared on-screens since he and Molly-Mae confirmed the end of their relationship in August. The pair shocked their fans as they issued statements confirming they'd gone their separate ways.

The news come after the former couple had recently celebrated five years since they got together after meeting and falling in love on ITV2 dating show Love Island in 2019. They went on to welcomed their daughter Bambi into the world in January 2023 and got engaged in the summer of the same year.

Tommy is now on a promotional tour for his new book, Lightning Can Strike Twice, which is released on Thursday (October 10) and so he appeared on This Morning to speak to Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley about it.

But it was inevitable that talk turned to the end of his relationship with Molly-Mae, starting with a reminder of their Love Island love story.

After seeing clips of himself on the show, Tommy said: "It feels like a lifetime ago, great memories. I remember it being the summer of a lifetime. I had never seen it, didn’t know what I was getting myself into… but I ended up finding love and finding the mother of my child. It was a very eventful summer."

He was quickly asked by Cat how his one-year-old daughter Bambi was, Tommy beamed as he replied: "She's getting cheekier by the day. She's two in January so she's understanding what's going on and who people are. She's just turning into her own little person."

"Demanding of her daddy I can imagine..." Ben chipped in to which he said: "She's a daddy's girl! She's not only my twin, she's my personality as well," before admitted she already has him "wrapped around his little finger".

In talk away from his love life, Ben asked Tommy about his battle to become a boxer, particularly carrying the Fury name which many associate with his half-brother Tyson.

Tommy said: "I had a lot of ‘nos’ along the way and a lot of things that would’ve held me back, but I just never took ‘no’ for an answer and I strove to be successful and that’s why I’m here today because I never took no for an answer."
