Asda told 'know when to stop' over new £1.10 Christmas product

All kinds of new products hit the supermarket shelves in the run-up to Christmas with an array of flavours usually on offer.

But there's one particular item that's dividing shoppers which has launched as part of Asda's festive range.

A new Tasty Roast Potato Flavour Mayo has arrived - billed as 'perfect in turkey sandwiches' and it's already causing quite a stir.

After sharing a photo of the £1.10 product on its Facebook page, hundreds of shoppers reacted.

While it's got some customers excited, including one, who said 'we have gotta try this' and another, who said 'sounds delicious', others aren't too keen.

"Know when to stop," said one shopper, while another added: "Sounds revolting."

A third said: "That's just wrong......why would you do that!"

In its post, Asda said: "Our new Roast Potato Flavour Mayo is now available in stores and online. Customers are coming up with creative ideas for how to use it and getting excited about Christmas."
