Kate Ferdinand admits 'sleepless nights' as lavish holiday ends in hospital dash for son

The former The Only Way is Essex star has revealed that she and former footballer-turned-pundit Rio headed to sunnier, idyllic climes with their children over the recent half-term break, which came after Kate had thrown a 'last-minute' Halloween party for their two youngest children - Cree and Shae.
Taking to her Instagram Story, Kate was sharing videos and pictures from their beautiful trip which including riding bikes to the beach and spotting turtles in the crystal clear waters and dolphin watching.

But as she finished the string of posts, the 33-year-old shared a photo of her son Cree in an ambulance as she explained their frightening ordeal.
She said the incident occured at the end of their family holiday, leading to a dash to the nearest hospital for emergency care. Kate shared a black and white photo from inside the ambulance which showed Cree on a stretcher as she gave him a kiss.
She wrote over the top: "We ended a fabulous trip with a broken collar bone. My boy just always gets injured!! It's been sleepless nights, cuddles, tv & chocolate since."

Katie and Rio, 45, had whisked the kids - including his eldest daugther Tia - to the Maldives and were joined by his dad Julian. Kicking off her social media posts, Kate said: "Finally getting round to that catch-up," as she filled her loyal followers in on what had been going on after her period of silence on social media.
Kate and Rio, who married in 2019, are parents to Cree who born in December 2020 and daughter Shae, who was born last year. Kate is also step mum to Rio's three children Lorenz, Tate, and Tia from his previous marriage to Rebecca Ellison who passed away after a cancer diagnosis in 2015.
