BBC Strictly Come Dancing viewers 'love' Gorka Marquez as they spot 'trick' move

Strictly Come Dancing fans appeared just as distracted as Anton Du Beke when it came to Gorka Marquez's appearance in the ballroom this weekend.

The Spanish dancer was back for week four of the BBC One dance contest alongside celebrity dance partner Dr Punam Krishan and the pair were riding high after their best performance to date last weekend as they made Strictly history by performing a Bollywood number during Movie Week.

However, they didn't get the comments they may have been hoping for after the duo had taken to the dance floor with a lively jive to Lizzo's 2 Be Loved (Am I Ready).

Punam and Gorka both performed in shiny pink outfits but it wasn't enough to distract Craig Revel Horwood who said it was 'sloppy, messy, full of mistakes'. Motsi Mabuse also commented that the 'pressure got to you after last week' as she said there were 'quite a few mistakes'.

Anton, however, struggled to give his critique and only had words about Gorka's outfit, revealing he didn't want to talk about the dance. He said: "I was watching you dance and I thought to myself 'I've got a shirt like that'. It doesn't quite look the same on me as on you, Gorks," he said.

He did add: "They're right about what they say so I thought I wouldn't really talk about it. I thought I'd talk about something else. I tied my own tie you know, and I think it's gone rather well. I look forward to seeing you next week."

Gorka quickly leapt to the defense of his partner, insisting: "She's a GP. She doesn't do anything to do with performing!" But they received just 20 points out of 40 from the judges.

Meanwhile, Strictly fans were flocking to social media to comment on Gorka's outfit and ponder whether he has any say on how risque it can be.
