Sam Thompson says he's been 'rumbled' as he makes admission over changed look

Sam Thompson has said he's been 'rumbled' after his changed appearance sparked plenty of comments from fans. The podcast and radio host has, up until now, been ignoring comments that have questioned whether he has had a cosmetic procedure.

The 32-year-old recently revealed he'd undergone a salmon-sperm facial which is described as a unique skincare treatment that involves the injection of polynucleotides derived from salmon milt (fish semen).

However, the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here winner has now admitted the truth after he and his best pal Pete Wicks were flooded with messages on their Staying Relevant podcast posts on social media.

In a new clip from the latest episode of the podcast, Sam is heard asking Strictly Come Dancing star Pete: "Do you want to know something? It's not the salmon sperm..."

The video then showed the conversation from the beginning, which started with Pete asking his friend: "What the f**k have you done to your face?" to which Sam replied: "I've had salmon sperm". Pete then brutally replied: "Yeah, it's gone badly..." Sam tried to defend his appearance and said it needed to 'settle in' before Pete read out messages from viewers asking about Sam's new look.

Eventually, he confessed: "Zara made me get botox," leaving Pete with his jaw on the floor. Sam explained: "I was on the chair to get salmon sperm.... I won't be doing it again, let's leave it there."

And their fans and listeners were relieved to finally have heard the truth from Sam. @beckieanngoulden91 said: "Thank god you addressed this because I’ve been wondering what happened to Sam’s eyes for over a week now." @fabfood4all wrote: "So glad Sam has addressed this and can't understand why he had it as he looked great before."

Weeks ago when you got it I thought you had had an allergic reaction on This Morning and was really worried!"

@jesscam88 echoed: "That’s why his face looks so weird, I thought he’d had an allergic reaction to something." @nicknackpaddywhack posted: "Omg. I wondered what same had done to his face. It looks so weird." @ju_lee_ellen added: "I knew something had happened to his eyes!! Please don't do that again, you look like you have been up all night crying!!!"
