Kerry Katona clarifies Ryan Mahoney 'split' amid family health scare

Kerry Katona has been forced to clarify news she had 'split' from her fiancé Ryan Mahoney after six years.

The former Atomic Kitten star took to social media on Saturday (November 2) to seemingly confirm she and Ryan hadn't parted ways after a comment she made on social media was taken out of context.

Earlier this week, Kerry posted on social media about visiting her ill mother Sue in hospital, who was rushed to A&E last month due to blood clots in her lungs.

In response to the post, when one fan asked if the doctor was single, Kerry responded: "No, but I am!" It was quickly reported that Kerry had split from Ryan, who has been engaged to the 36-year-old fitness trainer since 2021.

But she's now commented that this isn't the case. Sharing a screengrab of the interaction, the former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here winner wrote on Instagram: "So I see the papers have taken a joke between me, my mum and best friend about a dr!!!! Ffs I even put a laughing face!!!!

"My mum has the funniest sense of humour and we was all just playing along with her! Never thought journalist will be scrolling through 1500 comments and run a headline that I have split with @ryanmahoney_7 all because we were trying to cheer my mum up! I’ve confirmed nothing!!!!!! Everyone else could see that this was light humour!!!!"

The post came as Kerry was seen out earlier on Saturday in Warrington in her £260,000 Lamborghini. She was left devastated at the end of 2021 when her Range Rover was stolen at Christmas while she was shopping in Oldham.

Her previous car was stolen in December with her kids' Christmas presents inside. Months into 2022 and Kerry was seen behind the wheel of her lime green Lamborghini.
