Emmerdale's spoilers for next week as Dingle death rocks village and legend returns

Emmerdale viewers can expect a week filled with drama and heartache.

The village is left reeling by the sudden death of a Dingle family member, while an unexpected relative makes a surprise comeback. In the meantime, Will enlists a local to help him take down Kim, and Billy continues to deceive Dawn.

Here are the seven major spoilers for Emmerdale next week....

1. ) Moira gets an update on her operation.

Moira, who is battling a brain tumour, suffers a seizure while preparing breakfast at the beginning of the week. She is informed of an available operation slot the following day, reports Leeds Live.

Cain unexpectedly returns home, but Moira refrains from sharing her operation news with him.

2. ) The Dingles receive devastating news.

While Cain is in the shower, Moira receives a call from Debbie, who delivers the tragic news that Zak has died. Cain breaks the news of Zak's death to the rest of the family.

It's a day of mourning for both the Dingles and the wider village community.

The grieving family find solace in each other's company. Soon, Cain and Sam discover Belle outside, and the three share memories of their father, all deeply affected by his loss.

3. ) The village pays tribute to Zak.

The villagers congregate on Main Street to bid farewell to Sam and Cain as they set off for Scotland to bring Zak back.

Chas transforms the Woolpack into a place of mourning. Meanwhile, Matty questions Moira's decision to postpone her operation.

4. ) A surprise return shocks the villagers.

Later at Wishing Well, the Dingles gather and raise a glass to Zak's memory. On the day of the funeral, a long-lost relative appears at the graveside, shocking the family.

5. ) Billy's secret continues.

Billy confesses to Mack that he's going to have to take another fight but implores Mack to keep it a secret. Mack says not only will he not say anything; he wants to help.

The next day Kim's wrong footed after another tender moment between her and Will at Home Farm. Will's gradual rapprochement with Dawn continues as he gives her cash and promises to negotiate her a loan.

Meanwhile secretive Billy's even more determined to go ahead with his next unlicensed boxing match and provide a better life for Dawn and the kids.

6. ) Ruby confronts Caleb.

Ruby receives an unexpected delivery of her mum's ashes. She soon makes a defiant, impulsive decision on how to dispose of them. Later drowning her sorrows in the pub Chas advises her to find out Helen's final words from the hospital, in the hope to get closure.

After finding her mum was asking for her and hanging on for a deathbed reconciliation, Ruby is stunned to hear that Caleb paid Helen a secret visit on the hospital ward before her death. Ruby confronts her husband.

7. ) Caleb and Will take down Kim.

Will is seen comforting Kim over the loss of her old friend Zak. Meanwhile, Caleb is feeling the heat from the bank. This leads to Will and Caleb encouraging each other in their scheme to bring down Kim. Caleb's situation is precarious as he has been dishonest with the bank.

Kim's request for Gabby to return to Home Farm motivates Will to discuss with Caleb their imminent plan to topple Kim.
