BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Johannes Radebe 'crying again' as Montell Douglas confirms secret injury blow
by Jessica Sansome · Manchester Evening NewsJohannes Radebe said he was 'crying again' as Montell Douglas spoke out on then landing in the latest dance-off on Strictly Come Dancing.
The pair were no doubt feeling good following their latest performance in the ballroom on Saturday night (November 2) as they embraced the show's first-ever 'Icons Week' alongside their fellow couples in which they performed to a song by a legendary singer or band.
Olympian and Gladiators star Montell and her professional dance partner Johannes scored 35 out of a possible 40 for their waltz to I Will Always Love You by Whitney Houston.

But despite the score, judge Craig Revel Horwood said: "I wanted it softer and lighter, frame was in and out." The comment sparked uproar on the judging panel as Shirley Ballas gave him a ticking off.
As he gave his comments, she blasted him: "Craig! Oh my goodness I don't agree with you at all! What are you doing?!" before leaping out of her seat. Motsi tried to interject before Shirley got her to move out of the way so she could get closer to Craig and told him: "He had that beautiful frame, he dropped his arms, she looked at him willingly ready to go with soft movement, with beautiful footwork. Improving."
But it was on Sunday night (November 3) during the latest results show that Montell and Johannes had to fight for their place in the competition when they landed in the bottom-two alongside Olympic hockey star Sam Quek and Nikita Kuzmin.
After reperforming their routines from the live show, all four judges - Craig, Shirley, Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke - all agreed unanimously to save Montell and Johannes.
Following the show, Montell took to Instagram and said: "'SO EMOTIONAL' The first ever @bbcstrictly ICONS week was an honour to be a part of! Everyone brought the energy! Although it was a very difficult week with injury, late night's and tears, 'STEP BY STEP' we made it to the dancefloor, together, on Saturday night.

"Followed by a tough results show to push us even more, as always it was @johannesradebe support that kept me going and he is 'ALL THE MAN I NEED'. 'I HAVE NOTHING' but love for you and am forever grateful. You truly are 'THE GREATEST LOVE OF ALL' and know that you can always 'COUNT ON ME'.
"The fight and love we have for this journey kept us in another week and I am so proud of how far we have come in the ballroom. 'I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU' for everything you do, who you represent and what you bring out in me. It's amazing what you can do 'WHEN YOU BELIEVE' and 'I BELIEVE IN YOU AND ME'."
She rounded off the post by writing: "We get to go again. Excited for the week ahead. Thank you for all the love. The button has been pushed," to which Johannes wrote in the comments: "I'm crying again!"
Montell also took to her Instagram Story to addresses the 'tough' situation she and Johannes found themselves in as she confirmed an injury blow. "Today was hard. Tonight was hard for many reasons," she started by saying. "This week was really challenging. We had one day of training. JoJo was not okay.
"He was really injured from the last show. We fought on and we were in the bottom two. It just shows that in these moments that this is where the fight starts and it was tough. It was really tough to know that you've given everything but I'm really proud of what we were able to do and I'm proud of who it made us in those moments and how it's going to help us grow. It's also going to always remind us to fight until the very end."
