BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Chris McCausland told 'three little words' had them in tears

Chris McCausland has given a short reflection on his latest stint in the ballroom after 'three little words' had Strictly Come Dancing fans in tears. The comedian triumphed in the ballroom once again over the weekend alongside professional dancer Dianne Buswell.

The pair once again captured the hearts of viewers on Saturday night (October 5) as they scored 30 with their Wayne’s World-inspired jive in the BBC One dance contest's annual Movie Week special.

It was then during Sunday night's (October 6) results show, Chris, who is Strictly's first blind contestant, and Dianne were confirmed to have made it through to the next week of Strictly 2024 where it was revealed they'll be performing a Salsa to Men At Work's 'Down Under'.

Chris and Dianne hasve since headed into training for week four of the show and while neither had updates their fans at the start of the week, Chris has shared a video from his latest stint in the ballroom in which he could be seen stumped after previously playful rivalry with judge Craig Revel Horwood.

In his latest critique, Craig told the 47-year-old star: "You need to be a little bit more up on your toes. Strong at kickball change, but they're a little bit heavy for my liking. But it was full of fantastic rhythm. Those toe swivels were absolutely excellent." But he then added: "You can dance."

The comment left Chris unable to respond with a whitty onwitty one-liner,e-liner and alongside a clip of the moment, he commented on Instagram on Tuesday (October 8): "No comeback needed this week…"

And his fans and followers were quick to respond. @tifflouclark gushed: "Those three little words 'You can dance' had me crying! <3 We adore you Chris (and loved your stand-up show earlier this year in Worthing!) - genuine highlight of my week is seeing you two dance and of course all the video diaries on here! Keep going!"
