'I used to be a model - now I'm an exorcist who banishes demons to Disney World'
by Paige Oldfield · Manchester Evening NewsA former television presenter turned exorcist claims to banish demons to their idea of paradise, whether that be Disney World, The Ritz or The Bahamas.
Antonia Harman, 44, from Cornwall, said she discovered her powers in 2007 after curing a friend’s burst eardrum by pulling out a snake-like “demon”.
She said this life-changing experience led her to leave her career as a TV presenter and model to become an energy healer, performing exorcisms, removing spirits and helping others unlock their “magical” abilities.

She believes we live in a multi-dimensional world, where demons feed on people’s emotional energy, and claims to have even seen one which looked like a “metallic octopus” in IKEA – when she got home, she said she pulled it out of her and beheaded it.
Now, Antonia, who is single, is a “divine travel agent”, claiming to guide demons to their paradise rather than slaughtering them.

October is her busiest time of year, as it is “the dark side’s major holiday”, and she would advise others to remain positive to prevent demons from latching on to negative energy.
Antonia told PA Real Life: “I realised that if demons are the cause of people’s stresses and negative thoughts, they must be taking orders from someone else, higher up.
“I realised demons are actually slaves and don’t deserve to be killed. So I started sending them to live out their lives in harmony in different universes.
“I send them to another universe’s paradise – whether that be Disney World, The Ritz, or The Bahamas or Gotham City – just wherever paradise is for them.”
In 2000, Antonia worked as a television presenter for the satellite quiz show Sweet And Sassy while also pursuing a modelling career.
However, in 2007, she decided to take her career in a new direction after discovering her “healing powers” and claiming to have cured her friend’s burst eardrum.
Antonia recalled: “She felt like she was being stabbed in her ear and it was extremely painful. She fell to her knees and was screaming, ‘Help me, help me, fix my ear’.
“So I put my hands to her ears and started channelling energy, and, to my surprise, a demon that resembled a snake started to come out of her ear. I pulled this thing out of her, like feeding a rope, and it was about a foot-and-a-half long.”
Antonia claims that from that moment, her friend never had any further issues with her ear.
She said this experience prompted her to leave her television job and pursue a career as an energy healer and teacher, performing exorcisms and removing unwanted spirits from homes and people.
“I mean, the whole thing was so extreme, it changed the structure of my life because I had a lot of faith in normal Western medicine,” Antonia explained. “I realised it was more important to develop my skill and help people.”
This revelation also led her to believe that we live in a “multi-dimensional world” where unseen layers exist beyond our perception.

She added: “I think they’re always around us – angels, demons, all that sort of stuff. And I certainly think that when people are getting very stressed out or anxious, it’s the demons trying to feed on their emotional energy because that’s their food source. We’re not the top of the food chain – they are.”
Antonia acknowledges that her claims may be hard to believe, especially for those who have not witnessed such events themselves.
“I think the proof is in the pudding. I mean, from working with so many people whose lives I’ve improved by removing literal demons, it’s amazing,” she said.
In 2011, Antonia founded Divine Empowerment, a business offering energy healing and classes to help others unlock their “healing and magical” abilities. She believes everyone has these gifts, but many struggle to access them.
So, in her classes, she says she “removes any blockages” from people’s thought patterns that are “preventing them from being the gods they truly are”.
In her day-to-day life, she said she sees demons almost every day – and a few years ago, she claims she encountered a demon in IKEA while shopping with her mother.
She said: “I saw this thing that looked like a squiddy from The Matrix – it was like a metallic octopus. It sort of jumped diagonally three or four times, staggering in front of me, and then it jumped inside my chest and started compressing my lungs and heart. I was very uncomfortable and then I started to get very irritated, grumpy, tired and stressed out.”
Realising “IKEA wasn’t the best place to fight a demon”, she said she waited until she got home. There, she says she physically pulled the entity out, summoned Excalibur – the legendary sword of King Arthur – and beheaded it.
Over time, however, Antonia began to question whether she should be killing demons. She eventually concluded that they were enslaved beings and deserved to be sent to another dimension rather than destroyed.

Since 2021, she said she has seen herself as a “divine travel agent”, helping demons find peace by transporting them to their version of paradise. “There’s no animosity or hatred or anger. Before, there would have been more of a war going on,” Antonia explained. “But now, because I’m a divine travel agent, there’s nothing to worry about for me.”
With Halloween approaching, Antonia believes people are more vulnerable to spiritual attachments, as fear makes them easier targets. In October, she said, she can perform up to a thousand exorcisms a day.
She added: “There’s a lot of black magic going on around Halloween, so things amp up. It’s the dark side’s major holiday, so there’s certainly more darkness around than there might normally be.”
Despite this, Antonia maintains that positivity is the most powerful tool for banishing spirits. She said: “The best thing to do is let go of any anger or trauma and try to relax your mind so they can’t latch on to any negative thoughts.”
Antonia is appearing on a Sky three-part television series called The Healing Revolution in December about her gifts, which she said she “cannot wait to share with others”. For more information, visit: divineempowerment.com.
