Justin Timberlake has been announced as one of the headliners for the North West’s largest music festival when it returns next summer.

The former NSYNC star will take to the stage during Lytham Festival 2025 - which will take place in the Lancashire town from July 2 to 6. As a solo artist, he has released six studio albums, with songs including Rock Your Body and Cry Me A River.

Also confirmed to headline the huge festival will be 90s superstar Alanis Morissette, known for hits including Ironic and You Oughta Know. Her 1995 album Jagged Little Pill has been listed on numerous ‘Greatest Albums of All Time’ lists over the years.

Simple Minds and Texas have also been confirmed to be performing at the 2025 festival, which usually attracts around 20,000 people each day. Attendees at this year’s festival enjoyed sets from the likes of Shania Twain, Courteeners and Madness.

Alanis will perform on July 4, whilst Justin, who performed at Co-op Live last month, will headline the stage on July 5. Simple Minds and Texas will both perform on July 6.

Individual day tickets will be going on sale on Friday (September 27) at 8am, whilst five-day passes for the whole festival are now available to buy here. Organisers said details of who will be headlining on July 2 and July 3, along with all support acts and special guests will be announced in the near future.

Lytham Festival co-founder Peter Taylor said: “It’s that time of year again and what a line up we have planned. Everyone we are announcing today is an absolute music icon and we can’t wait to welcome them to Lytham.

“Alanis Morissette is quite simply a cultural phenomenon and an artist with incredible integrity and acclaim who is celebrated globally. To then have the huge superstar that is Justin Timberlake headlining the following night is a booking we are very excited about and one we are confident will be a huge hit.

“Then we have a brilliant double headlining set with two amazing Scottish artists, in the form of Simple Minds and Texas, to close the festival. These are two bands that I know will be very popular with our Lytham audience.

“And we’ve not finished there. Watch this space as we still have our Wednesday and Thursday headliners plus a lot of special guests to announce in the coming weeks. It’s only September but already Lytham Festival 2025 is shaping up to be another incredible week of live music.”

Individual day tickets for Lytham Festival (July 2-6) will go on sale via Ticketmaster here from 8am on Friday.
