Stacey Solomon says she's been 'doing her best' as personal update flooded with support

Stacey Solomon has told fans she's been 'doing her best' during a period of silence on social media as she revealed what's been keeping her busy.

Earlier this week, the Loose Women star had a catch-up with her fans after a 'manic' time period. Taking to her Instagram Story, Stacey said in a video directly to her fans and followers: ''I feel like it's been ages since I have just sat down and had a chat, it's been such a busy couple of weeks.''

She explained how she's been busy filming Sort Your Life Out presenter discussed the latest episode of the show saying: ''We had a big episode of Sort Your Life Out this week that finished on Saturday night. It was such an incredible episode. I actually feel like the luckiest presenter in telly. I love my job so much.

"I love my job so much I feel like it's a real privilege to be able to go into peoples homes and help them start again when they really need it. It's honestly the best job I've ever had and I love it.''

Discussing her plans for the next couple of months, the 34-year-old told followers she is filming this week before getting ready for 'crafty Christmas' with her family in a couple of weeks before finishing her message: It's just been manic busy but I just wanted to come on and say hi. Hope you're all okay and yeah I just fancied a chat, love you.''

Now, Stacey has revealed she's not just been busy with her TV work as she was also preparing for her and her daughter's birthday. Fans may know that Stacey and her husband Joe Swash welcomed their first daughter together, Rose, back in 2021 and on Friday (October 4), they'll be celebrating her third birthday.

But not only is it Rose's birthday, it's also Stacey's special day with the mother and daughter sharing a birthday. The mum-of-five has recently shared how the day approaching was making her emotional and now she's revealed the special gift she has hand-crafted for her little girl.

In a video posted to Instagram, Stacey could be heard asking Rose what she'd love for her birthday, to which she replied: "A pink piano with beautiful flowers," to which her mum giggled.

The video then continued to show Stacey crafting the beautiful piece, even adding Rose's name to the top of the mini open piano and added a stool which she upholstered with a floral cushion. Sharing the video with her millions of followers, the 34-year-old wrote: "For My Beautiful Rose. I can’t wait for you to wake up tomorrow on your birthday.

She continued: "Mummy has been doing her best to make your birthday dreams come true… I hope you love it. Rose has been asking for a 'mini piano; for so long because she loves to try & learn on our big keyboard but says her fingers are too small [crying laughing emoji].

"I love trying to make the things that she dreams up in her head. I can’t believe my baby will be 3 tomorrow & I’ll be 35. Can’t wait to spend my birthday celebrating our girl. To the moon & back my darling…" She also shared the clip to her Instagram Story and said: "Finished making my beautiful Rose's birthday present. I love sharing a birthday with Rose. I feel like my present is making her birthday present."
