Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania DLC announced, out October 31st

Vampire Survivors developer poncle has partnered up with Konami for its next DLC, which is called Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania. The Ode to Castlevania DLC will contain more than 20 characters from the iconic franchise, over 40 weapons including eight whips, more than 30 music tracks, and the biggest stage in Vampire Survivors so far, which is Dracula’s Castle.

The description for Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania says, “The Vampire Survivors gang have come a long way in their honourable hunt, and have now joined forces with the Belmont Family.The sun has set on Dracula’s iconic castle once more, and as the moon rises a hellish horde of murky Mudmen, ghastly ghosts, and frightening Fleamen take the stage as the battle of good and evil rages under the moonlight. Unleash an arsenal of new Vampire-vanquishing weapons upon these beasts and leave a trail of doom in your wake on your quest to rid the world of the unspeakable terror. Do not be blind to the shadow that looms over you, Survivors, as your quest has only just begun! It’s all very serious stuff, so now let’s pump up the volume and let’s go, this is Castlevania in Vampire Survivors, you haven’t survived anything yet!”

The playable characters has include the iconic Belmonts such as Simon, Richter, Trevor and Sonia are here. The Belnades are in too, including Sypha and Yoko. Additionally, Charlotte Aulin, Maria Renard, Shanoa, Eric Lecard, Jonathan Morris, and John Morris are all playable as well. Aside from the eight whips, the new weapons include elemental magic, javelins, iron balls, glyphs, and magic weapons are all being added. Altogether, it is a pretty sizeable package which has been priced at a reasonable $3.99/EUR3.99/£2.99.

Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania will be available on October 31st for PC, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series XS, PS4, PS5, and mobile.
