ITV Coronation Street spoilers: Joel 'death' news, Gail 'exit' and Fiz worry

Coronation Street spoilers have revealed that Gail Platt's exit from the cobbles could be sealed in upcoming scenes, while Fiz Stape faces a health scare as she's rushed to the doctors

Coronation Street is lining up explosive scenes next week on the hit ITV soap.

In upcoming scenes, Gail Platt's exit appears to be teased amid news actress Helen Worth is bowing out of her role after 50 years. Meanwhile, there is a chilling Joel Deering body update with the evil solicitor presumed 'dead'.

Elsewhere, Fiz Stape faces health fears when she suddenly experiences dizziness at work before rushing to the doctor to get checked out.

The week starts with several residents looking into Joel's disappearance as his ex-fiancée Dee-Dee Bailey plays a voice message she received from him to DS Lisa Swain, who thinks it could be a suicide note.

In another harrowing turn of events, Kit Green manages to track Joel's last whereabouts and finds his car parked on a bridge with a folded note on the dashboard. After the developments, DS Swain admits they are now looking for Joel’s body. But is the villain really dead?

Later in the week, Dee-Dee does her own investigation and confides in Kit that she phoned the wedding venue and the holiday company, where it seems Joel has already recouped their deposits.

Following the update, Dee-Dee confronts Joel's dad at the police station, accusing his son of going on the run but DS Swain is quick to step in, telling her to accept Joel is dead.

Elsewhere next week, following Fiz’s ruined birthday celebrations, husband Tyrone Dobbs is planning a romantic dinner to make up for it.

However, after experiencing dizziness at work, a worried Fiz books in for a doctor's appointment

Later in the week, Tyrone explains to the girls that Fiz isn’t feeling well but the duo have more to worry about when a vape falls out of Hope's pencil case. Tyrone and Fiz are left further stunned when a smug Hope reveals she stole it from the corner shop.

Meanwhile on the cobbles next week, Gail's exit appears to be teased after it was revealed earlier this year that actress Helen, 73, is leaving the cobbles after 50 years.

In spoilers, Gail suggests she could sell her house to raise the money for granddaughter Bethany Platt’s medical bills in Turkey. However, son David is horrified, pointing out they'd be left homeless. Will Gail go through with the plan and could this be part of her exit storyline?
