Juror #2 is Eastwood’s 40th film as a director. Eastwood turned 94 in May.
The film debuted in limited release in theaters on November 2. The official logline for Juror #2 reads, “Family man Justin Kemp (Nicholas Hoult) who, while serving as a juror in a high profile murder trial, finds himself struggling with a serious moral dilemma ... one he could use to sway the jury verdict and potentially convict—or free—the wrong killer.”
Juror #2 also stars Toni Collette, J.K. Simmons, Kiefer Sutherland, Gabriel Basso, Zoey Deutch and Chris Messina. According to Variety, Warner Bros. had no plans to expand Juror #2 to more theaters beyond the screens it played on in its opening weekend.

THR also noted that Juror #2’s debut in theaters qualifies the film for an awards season run. Eastwood, of course, has brought Warner Bros. plenty of awards season prestige over the past three decades, winning Best Picture (as a producer) and Best Director Oscars for 1993’s Unforgiven and 2005’s Million Dollar Baby.
In addition, Eastwood earned Best Picture and Best Director Oscar nominations for 2004’s Mystic River and 2007’s Letters from Iwo Jima.
Eastwood was also an Oscar-nominated producer on the 2015’s American Sniper, which was nominated for Best Picture.
How Was Clint Eastwood’s ‘Juror #2’ Received By Audiences And Critics?

In addition, Variety reported, Juror #2 made $5 million from 1,348 theaters at the international box office.
THR reported that Juror #2 had a budget that was “reportedly less than $35 million” before prints and advertising costs.
On the review front, Rotten Tomatoes critics praised Juror #2 with a 91% “fresh” rating based on 87 reviews. An RT Audience Score for Juror #2 is still pending.
The RT Critics Consensus reads, “A legal thriller with a heavy conscience, Juror #2 is less a summation of Clint Eastwood's storied directorial career than another terrific reminder of his knack for plain-spoken drama.”
Rated PG-13, Clint Eastwood’s Juror #2 is written by Jonathan A. Abrams.
