Kate Middleton spills all on naughty habit Prince William has behind closed doors

The Prince and Princess of Wales are known for being down to earth and relatable, and it turns out that William is prone to the same bad habits as the rest of us - much to Kate's annoyance.

Despite being the future King, Prince William is not immune to a telling off from his wife Kate Middleton for one of his all-too-relatable bad habits.

The Princess of Wales spilled the beans on what her husband is really like back in 2018 during a visit to an RAF base in Cyprus. The royal couple were there to meet service personnel who would be away from their families over Christmas and to officially open a new recreation facility, the Mirror reports.

As they admired the new decor, William cautioned: "Keep the pizza off the sofas". However, Kate was quick to call him out on his own misdemeanours, retorting: "You're a nightmare with that! "

It's well known that William and Kate enjoy a good takeaway now and then. In a 2017 interview with BBC Radio 1, Kate confirmed that they do indeed order takeaways, with curry being her top pick.

She added: "It doesn't usually get ordered to the palace, we tend to go and pick it up," before jokingly clarifying "not ourselves!"

Kate also shared that while she favours spicy dishes, William isn't quite as keen. Speaking to ex-footballer Peter Crouch on his podcast in 2020, William confessed he's "not a vindaloo man, put it that way", but does enjoy a chicken masala.

Like many of us, he admitted he often finds it hard to decide which cuisine to opt for when ordering a takeaway as he admitted: "It's a real conundrum when it comes to it. Pizza, curry, or Chinese".

It's been mentioned that the late Queen Elizabeth II had a soft spot for a popular British takeaway, occasionally sending her footman to fetch her modest £10 fish and chips order while at Balmoral.

A source once told Fabulous Magazine: "She very occasionally treated herself to fish and chips when at Balmoral. A footman is dispatched to get it from the local town of Ballater." In an unexpected reveal, Hello! Magazine reported that Her Majesty also enjoyed the occasional kebab.

Royal correspondent Jayne Seymour noted that Krazy Kebabs takeaway in Swaffham made a surprising delivery to Sandringham House. The delivery person recounted to Jayne: "I assumed the food was for a servant. But when I got to the entrance a butler took it and said it was for the Queen. I hope she enjoyed it we are known for the best kebabs in Norfolk."

Prince William has also shown a penchant for casual dining, especially at Nando's. In the BBC documentary 'Football, Prince William and Our Mental Health', which came out in May 2020, he confessed: "Everyone loves a Nando's," and chuckled over the fact that it'd been some time since his last indulgence in either a burger or pitta from the eatery.

Jovially, he blamed his colleague: "In fact, the policeman who's on with me again [today], he's the one who gets me the Nando's the whole time. It's his fault."
