Clive Owen, star of Our Yorkshire Farm, has recently undergone major surgery, his ex-partner Amanda Owen revealed. In an exclusive look at their new series, Our Farm Next Door, Amanda told ITV's Lorraine that Clive is recovering from a hip operation and has been getting support from their family.
During a behind-the-scenes segment, Amanda shared: "There's a lot going on here. It's been a nightmare here. I've got children going to school, I've got children studying and children working and then he comes to me and says he's bored."
She also discussed the challenges of his recovery, saying: "He has had a hip replacement and he's a terrible patient. Everybody's just getting on and stuff's getting done but just not how he would like it. But most of the time we don't care."

Amanda and Clive, who have split amicably, are working together to renovate a derelict farmhouse for their new show, which has been hindered by bad weather and other issues, reports Lancs Live.
Amanda explained: "This actually belongs to us whereas Ravenseat is a tenanted farm. This has an amazing history and no one has actually lived here for over 100 years," while Clive added: "There's no road to it at all."
The pair acknowledged the unfavourable weather conditions, with Amanda adding insight into her capabilities: "It was never going to be simple. I'm not that much of a twit right? Ask me anything about sheep and I'll tell you what I think about them. Ask me anything hill farming, no problem. Ask me anything about home renovations, not a clue. This is all about the future. It's a big undertaking."
In 2022, Amanda shared news of her split from Clive, stating: "Clive and I have are sad to confirm that we have made the difficult decision to separate. This hasn't been easy, but we both believe it's the right choice for the future of our family."
Later on, Clive admitted the role his temperament played in their separation: "anger" was what "drove her away".
Amanda and Clive share nine children: Raven, Reuben, Miles, Edith, Violet, Sidney, Annas, Clemmie, and Nancy, each at different stages ranging from continuing education to attending school.
