Good Morning Britain's Susanna Reid and Ed Balls swiftly changed the subject following Amanda Holden's interview segment this morning.

Amanda graced the breakfast programme today, discussing her cycling challenge from Cornwall to London for Global's Make Some Noise charity. She'll be embarking on a 250-mile journey from Bude in Cornwall on 'Amanda Holden's Big Ride To Work', finishing at the Heart studios in Leicester Square.

The trip, lasting five days, will see her pedal for eight hours each day.

Her expedition kicks off today, propelling her through Cornwall, Somerset, Berkshire, Wiltshire, and Surrey before reaching Heart's central office on Friday, all while drumming up significant charity funds.

During her stint on Good Morning Britain, Amanda began by saying she had acquired some special bum cream for the ride - expected to keep her on the bicycle most of the day, reports the Mirror.

Throughout the interview, she playfully quipped about her behind on live television, but as the conversation wrapped up, she gave her backside a pat, promptly leading Ed to announce it was time to switch topics. Both Susanna and Amanda couldn't contain their laughter as they concluded the chat, sending Amanda off with their best wishes for the journey.

"I thought you were going to ask where I put the [bum] butter then, but it's early morning and kids are watching so," joked Amanda, while Susanna and Ed presented the cheerful bottom cream to viewers.

Amanda later joked: "I'm trying to think of a good word to say that's - I'm lubed up. There we are."

The broadcaster had previously made light of the situation, saying she would end up with "buns of steel" after her cycling endeavour.

When discussing the upcoming challenge, she expressed: "I can't quite believe that I'm going to be cycling over 250 miles from my mum's house in Cornwall to London for Global's Make Some Noise - it's a massive challenge!"

She humorously remarked about the terrain: "I'm told it's not going to be particularly flat so I'm gonna have buns of steel by the end of this! Knowing that every mile I cover will help raise funds for those local projects providing a lifeline directly to those who need it most is what will keep me going. Plus, I'll get the nicest Cornish sendoff from my mum with a big cuddle!"

Amanda also shared her anticipation for the support they would receive: "I can't wait to see how much we can raise, I know we'll get incredible support from our amazing listeners. Their generosity truly means the world, and together we can help those projects that make such a difference in their communities."
