Only Natural Diamonds has tapped actor Chase Strokes as its latest digital cover star.
The multichannel Only Natural Diamonds platform serves as a digital destination for consumers to discover the universe of natural diamonds, with its latest issue for fall-winter 2024-2025 centering on the theme of realness. “We dedicate our realness issue to the vanguards blazing a path for those who follow,” explained editor in chief of Only Natural Diamonds Sam Broekema. “Natural diamonds exemplify the real, as a finite miracle of geology that predates all life on Earth. Movie stars often feel like miracles, as well. Digital cover star Chase Stokes needs no introduction to the internet. His frankness and openness — along with his imposing cheekbones — resonate with a generation through his work on ‘Outer Banks’ as well as his honest dialogue about mental health.”

Photographed by Ryan Pfluger, Stokes was shot at the iconic Pink Motel in Sun Valley, Calif., “during a heat wave,” Broekema said. “The empty pool felt like a cruel joke. But Chase’s joyful energy and excitement for natural diamond jewelry was like a cool breeze for everyone on set and we never wanted the shoot to end.”

The issue takes a deep dive into the allure of natural diamonds, from their role in film to their positive impact on India’s water management projects, and a look at what happens after a mine closes. Broekema said, “We’ve curated gift recommendations, from budget-friendly to foolproof gift guides, we run the gamut.”
Pointing to the large-scale water management projects in India that are written about in the issue, he said they “have revitalized rivers and provided clean drinking water to millions in India. These initiatives exist because companies have harnessed the diamond’s power to give back to the communities along its journey. And it doesn’t stop there — every mine must prove its sustainability, with restoration plans in place before the first stone is even unearthed, ensuring long-term environmental and community health long after the mine closes.”
The digital issue is online Thursday and the Chase Stokes editorial will be featured in the next print issue with Shailene Woodley on the cover dropping on newsstands on Nov. 14 in the U.S., London and Paris.
