Despite Prince William and Princess Kate being incredibly hands-on parents, who prioritise the well-being of their children—Prince George, 11, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6—they face parenting challenges akin to families across the country. As keen sports enthusiasts, the Royal couple have encouraged their children to engage in a variety of active pastimes, including tennis, rugby, and football.

Nevertheless, Prince George's burgeoning interest in video gaming has required William and Kate to establish firm rules for managing his screen time.

This adjustment is necessary to ensure prudent oversight of Prince George's leisure activities. The young prince's fondness for gaming was shared by his father, Prince William, during a visit to the BAFTA headquarters—an association under his presidency for 14 years—in 2022.

William disclosed that he and Kate are regulating gaming and screen exposure, particularly for George, who is most captivated by the digital world. "At the moment it's trying to regulate the gaming... monitoring screen time. Got to be careful of that," the Duke of Cambridge said during his official appearance.

He acknowledged the allure of technology, saying: "They're fascinated by it. George particularly. He's more interested in it. The other two are a bit too small at the moment but they love the films. I adore film and gaming as well," reports The Mirror.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, are said to have enforced a ban on iPads for their children from a young age, instead promoting outdoor play and imaginative games.

In recent news, Prince William shared that his son, Prince George, has taken up a rather adventurous new hobby.

During a visit to Birley Community Pool, the Prince of Wales said that they introduced George to scuba diving, and he absolutely loved it. The Prince of Wales admitted that when George was ten years old, they took him scuba diving and that the Royal youngster absolutely loved it. "It's just introduced him to the world of water," the Prince of Wales said.
