Good Morning Britain presenters Susanna Reid and Ed Balls had a moment of swift transition following an interview with Amanda Holden on Monday morning (October 7). During the programme, Amanda discussed her ambitious cycling challenge from Cornwall to London, which will benefit Global's Make Some Noise charity.

Branded 'Amanda Holden's Big Ride To Work', she plans to cycle an impressive 250 miles starting from Bude in Cornwall to the Heart studios in Leicester Square over five days, dedicating eight hours daily to the endeavour. Amanda kicked off her journey on Monday, her route cutting through Somerset, Berkshire, Wiltshire, and Surrey, aiming to finish at Heart's headquarters on Friday (October 11) with considerable funds raised for charity.

Whilst on Good Morning Britain, she candidly shared her pre-ride preparations, including acquiring special bottom cream to endure long hours in the saddle, and even joking about its application live on air. The laughter concluded with a cheeky bottom slap from Amanda, prompting Ed to divert the show's attention elsewhere.

Ed quickly exclaimed to viewers that they needed to move on from the chat.

Both Susanna and Amanda were left in fits of laughter as the interview wrapped up with well-wishes for the challenging ride ahead. "I thought you were going to ask where I put the [bum] butter then, but it's early morning and kids are watching so," Amanda quipped, while Susanna and Ed showed the audience the aforementioned happy bottom cream, reports the Mirror.

Previously joking about the physical challenge ahead, she anticipated, "buns of steel" as a result of her upcoming endeavour. At the announcement of the challenge, she expressed both excitement and apprehension: "I can't quite believe that I'm going to be cycling over 250 miles from my mum's house in Cornwall to London for Global's Make Some Noise - it's a massive challenge!"

She continued, acknowledging the terrain: "I'm told it's not going to be particularly flat so I'm [going to] have buns of steel by the end of this! Knowing that every mile I cover will help raise funds for those local projects providing a lifeline directly to those who need it most is what will keep me going.

"Plus, I'll get the nicest Cornish send-off from my mum with a big cuddle!" Eagerly anticipating the event, she added: "I can't wait to see how much we can raise, I know we'll get incredible support from our amazing listeners. Their generosity truly means the world, and together we can help those projects that make such a difference in their communities."
