Rylan Clark has opened up about his distinctive voice, and his current romantic situation during a candid Q&A session with fans. After being bombarded with questions on Instagram where he had invited followers to quiz him, the TV and radio personality turned to YouTube to share his responses.

One of the hot topics was the sound of Rylan's "real voice", which recently became a talking point after a more mellow voice featured in a video had his fans puzzled. Addressing this from his kitchen, dressed casually, Rylan revealed: "When I'm at home, I speak a little bit lower, so sometimes when I do a video when I'm at home, and I'm wearing a tracksuit then it's like my normal voice."

The conversation soon moved onto his personal life where the 35 year old clarified: "No I don't, I'm very single. Don't get me wrong I wouldn't mind one. I'm pretty content on my own, I'm quite a busy boy. I know I keep moaning that I'm single, but it's actually quite nice to do what I want, when I want where I want, with who I want."

He also touched on feelings of loneliness, admitting to the occasional bout but finding comfort in being able to call someone or visit friends.

Rob Rinder's name inevitably cropped up in the conversation, as he and Rylan have grown to be close friends over time. Their camaraderie was showcased on television earlier this year in their first joint TV venture, reports the Manchester Evening News.

"Rob and Rylan's Grand Tour" aired on BBC2, taking viewers on a cultural journey through Italy's art masterpieces in cities like Venice, Florence, and Rome, tracing the path of 19th-century poet Lord Byron and other historical travellers. However, during the filming, Rob's playful social media antics led to engagement rumours with Rylan, prompting Rylan to clarify in subsequent weeks and months that they were not an item.

"I can't get rid of him, people thought we were dating," Rylan confessed in his new YouTube video. "People thought we were together, and there's nothing wrong with that thought but we're not. We're just friends. We're like a married couple – we row all the time and don't have sex. He's very much part of my life, I speak to him most days."
