Emmerdale fans are convinced that Amelia Spencer is about to fall pregnant - but many reckon that Tom King isn't the father

Emmerdale fans are predicting a shock pregnancy storyline for Amelia Spencer, but they're speculating that Tom King might not be the father. Currently, Amelia, played by Daisy Campbell, is in a relationship with the villainous Tom King, portrayed by James Chase.

Viewers will recall that Tom previously abused his wife Belle Dingle, played by Eden Taylor-Draper, leading to her departure. However, Tom has since moved on to Amelia, who is significantly younger than him.

He has managed to win over Amelia, who has vowed to stand by him no matter what. In addition to defending Tom, Amelia has been keeping her daughter Esther away from her grandparents, Sam (James Hooton) and Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick).

With actor James Chase reportedly leaving the soap soon, fans are eagerly awaiting the downfall of his character Tom. And in last week's episode, it seemed that Lydia had finally made Amelia see Tom for who he really is, according to Leeds Live.

The following day, however, Amelia confronted Tom about his 'true' feelings. The manipulator managed to convince Amelia that his feelings for her were genuine, reports the Manchester Evening News.

But now, amid all the drama in the Dales, fans are speculating that Amelia could be pregnant, and in a surprising twist, some viewers think Tom might not be the baby's father.

An Emmerdale enthusiast sparked a debate on a Facebook fan page by predicting: "The next story is she'll be pregnant with his child," which led to a flurry of agreement from other fans. Comments such as: "Definitely! Only a matter of time" were common.

Another added their thoughts, saying: "Let's hope Tom isn't the father."

Meanwhile, another chimed in with: "That would tip him over the edge! I want it to be some random, or maybe Noah."

One viewer pointed out that Amelia and Tom haven't been intimate, noting: "He said he wants to wait so as of now they have not done the deed but that may change."

However, someone else suggested the soap could take creative liberties: "They could retcon that though. Could have happened off-screen, but wouldn't be the first time". In agreement, another person concluded: "100%."
