Doughnotts reveals opening date of new Nottingham shop and freebies for first 100 customers
by Lynette Pinchess · NottinghamshireLiveDoughnotts, Nottingham's popular doughnut chain, has announced the opening date of its new city centre shop. The business is relocating from King Street to premises in Cheapside, at the side of the Council House.
The new store, previously Bobbi Brown and MAC Cosmetics, will open on Friday, November 8. The first 100 customers will receive a free glazed doughnut. When Doughnotts opened in King Street in 2019 there were lengthy queues.
That shop has now closed with all attention focused on getting the new premises ready for opening day. Doughnotts fans can look forward to November's new autumnal flavours including Bonfire Toffee, Jam Roly Poly and Custard, Jazzies and Black Forest Gateau. Vegan doughnuts include White Chocolate Pecan and Cookies 'n' Dream.

Co-owner Wade Smith, who founded the business with Megan Scaddan, said the new site will be their third and final home in the city. They opened the first shop in a downstairs unit in Long Row before relocating to King Street and later expanding to Beeston and West Bridgford.
Back in June when news of the move was first announced, Wade said the shop would have new products as well as doughnuts, but further details have yet to be revealed.
