Most popular Xbox games — Star Wars Outlaws almost outlawed from top 40

Our latest gameplay chart of popular Xbox games sees EA Sports FC 25 already in the top 15 despite not having launched yet, while Star Wars Outlaws falls again.

It seems everyone is charging after the EA Sports FC 25 achievements with early access, as EA's sports sim is already making its first appearance in our latest Xbox gameplay chart, coming in at 11th despite the fact that it doesn't launch until the end of the week.

The top ten is almost completely static this week except for Overwatch 2 moving up a space to tenth place. Then there's EA Sports FC 25, knocking down EA Sports College Football 25, Forza Horizon 5, and Destiny 2. Age of Mythology Retold has had a bit of a drop this week, falling five places to 19th, while Valorant is hanging on at 20th. The next big change is Starfield, which has jumped up six places to 22nd, perhaps as players prepare for the upcoming Shattered Space expansion.

Expeditions: A MudRunner Game has had a big drop from 16th to 27th, while The First Descendant has also taken a tumble, falling from 22nd to 30th. Further down, we see Star Wars Outlaws falling from 29th to 36th. The game has been out for almost a month, but it was a much-hyped Ubisoft game. To be fair, one investor demanded a Ubisoft CEO change after the game launched, while the Star Wars Outlaws director expressed disappointment following its review scores. Another fall like this will knock Outlaws out of the top 40 completely. Meanwhile, this week's chart also sees two reappearances, with Battlefield 2042 at 37th and Madden NFL 24 at 40th.
