Honoured to announce Dadasaheb Phalke jury has decided to award legendary actor Mithun Chakraborty: Union Minister Ashwini - Greater Kashmir

Srinagar, Sept 30: Union Minister of Railways and Information and Broadcasting, Electronics & Information Technology, Ashwini Vaishnaw said that he was “honoured to announce that the Dadasaheb Phalke Selection jury has decided to award legendary actor Mithun Chakraborty.”

Ashwini said that decision has been taken for Mithun’s iconic contribution to Indian cinema.

The award would be presented at the 7-th National Film Awards ceremony on Oct 8.
