Nisha Maharana injured after hit by chair thrown during her obscene dance, watch
by Himanshu · KalingaTVJajpur: Item girl Nisha Maharana has reportedly been injured after being hit by a chair that was thrown by someone when she was allegedly performing obscene dance on a Jatra stage in Jajpur district of Odisha last night. The incident took place in Ragadi under Korei Police Station limits in the district.
Once again audience reacted protesting against performance of obscene dance on Jatra pandal. Reportedly, item dancer Nisha Maharna was performing a dance yesterday on the Jatra stage. She allegedly performed obscene dance when a member of the audience threw a chair on her to protest against the obscenity.
The Jatra was being organised by Maa Kamudei Anchalika Yuvak Sangha. As a result Maharana has reportedly sustained injury.
Yesterday night, on the third day of Opera Swapna Mahal Nisha Maharana had participated as a guest artist and she was performing dance on the stage.
The Melody performance was stopped for some time after Nisha was hit by a chair and there was a stir both on and off the stage due to this incident.
Soon, Korei police reached the spot and took the actress Nisha to hospital for treatment.
Korei police took control of the law and order situation. So far we have not got any reaction from the Jatra Committee in this regard.
