Actor and photographer Parvin Dabas, who met with an accident on September 21, is now back home. After a short stay in the ICU, the Khosla Ka Ghosla actor is now recovering, while also taking medicines for vertigo, headaches, and other after-effects of the concussion. "Personally, I feel I am recovering faster. While the doctors have spoken about a month, I should be up and about in 10 days," he told India Today in an exclusive conversation.

While Dabas was in the emergency, there was already speculation that he was drunk during the accident. Speaking about the same, Parvin Dabas agreed that the first thing people presume during an accident is that the driver was inebriated. "I remember even when I was coming in and out of consciousness, the only words coming out of my mouth was 'mera blood test kar lo (do my blood test)'. The doctors mentioned that they didn't smell alcohol, but I wanted it on paper. Just claiming that I was clean wouldn't have been enough, so when the pathology reports came, I was at peace. I didn't want anyone to say ke 'pi ke gaadi thok di (he crashed his car because he was drunk)'."

Although the actor doesn't like going back and thinking about the horrifying accident, Parvin shared with us how another car's high beam blinded him. He shared that he has often noticed how everyone uses the light which is a dangerous habit, "It's a selfish way of driving. I was lucky to not get fatally injured or hurt someone else. But these high beams can cause accidents on the road. It was dark when I was coming back home, and because of being blinded by the light, I hit something in the middle of the road. It was only when it flew and dropped, I realised it was a huge drum filled with water, which was kept as a divider."

The actor recalled how two boys rescued him and rushed him to the hospital. His wife, actor Preeti Jhangiani, her sister, and brother-in-law rushed to the emergency after being informed about the accident. "These boys didn't tell them their names. I want to reach out to them through the media. They can DM me or send a message. I would love to take them out," Parvin said.

Discussing how his wife Preeti Jhangiani stood by him throughout, Parvin Dabas said, "I thank God that I had her by my side. I think this is why I was attracted to her in the first place. There are so many beautiful women out there, but it was also the person that she is, that won my heart. Preeti is so generous, and calm and has a beautiful soul. She is so kind to everybody. When I was in the ICU, she was answering everyone, and dealing with everything by herself. She is literally my better half."

Apart from being an actor, Parvin Dabas is also an entrepreneur and the founder of Pro-Panja League.
